Technology Description

Also, in partnership with the NC Blind Lions, tactile phone screens have been 3D printed to help teach the significantly blind the layout of a typical smart phone. This is especially useful for phone users who have been blind from an early age and the elderly who have never used a smart phone. The printed screens give users a tactile feel of the ‘virtual buttons’ found on smart phones.
